Right of withdrawal
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period generally begins when the contract is concluded.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice before the withdrawal period expires.
Early performance and expiry
If you expressly request performance before the withdrawal period ends, you may owe compensation for performance supplied before withdrawal. The right may expire after full performance when the statutory requirements, including prior express consent and acknowledgement, are met.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right may expire when performance begins if you expressly consented, acknowledged the resulting loss of the right, and received contract confirmation.
Effects of withdrawal
Following an effective withdrawal, payments received are generally refunded without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receipt, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed. Statutory exceptions and possible compensation remain unaffected.
